About the position

The Operations Leader for Coatings at GE Vernova will oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. This role requires effective leadership in decision-making and communication of business goals, while also focusing on problem-solving and achieving both short-term and long-term business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, lead and execute daily production plans consistent with departmental goals.
• Drive performance metrics and track results for key business priorities such as safety, quality, and productivity.
• Provide direction and support for assigned production associates and SAP specialists, including resource planning and scheduling.
• Monitor adherence to daily production goals and review Hour by Hour Boards.
• Drive daily schedule attainment to meet internal and external customer commitments with quality and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical and quality issues.
• Support core manufacturing principles and facilitate continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain and develop Visual Management systems, including 5S programs and metric displays.
• Support employee growth and development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with business and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience in an industrial environment.
