About the position

The Coatings Inspector NACE - Level I position at Turner Industries involves inspecting, accepting, and rejecting work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications. This role is essential for ensuring quality control and safety on job sites, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and accept or reject work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.
• Develop procedures for the performance of various duties and perform complex duties within established guidelines.
• Maintain work performance records, inspection records, and other related documentation.
• Perform audits to ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements and define corrective measures for problem areas.
• Ensure implementation of corrective measures and maintain the correctness of all documents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a related field.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Working knowledge of the company quality control program, standards, procedures, and codes.
• Technical training and/or industrial-related safety experience.

Nice-to-haves
