About the position

As a Coax Splicer at MasTec Communications Group, you will play a crucial role in enhancing telecommunications infrastructure. This position involves splicing, testing, and troubleshooting coaxial cables in both aerial and underground settings. Responsibilities

• Splice, sweep, and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable.
• Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity.
• Utilize RF Meters and TDR (time-domain reflectometers).
• Read CATV telecommunication design and prints.
• Work in outdoor utility construction sites.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn custom software.
• Excellent verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced high volume work environment.
• Positive people skills and a pleasant demeanor.
