About the position

The Cobb Poultry Farm Worker position is a full-time role focused on the care and management of poultry within a biosecure environment. The worker will be responsible for various tasks including vaccination, movement of chickens, and maintaining cleanliness and biosecurity protocols. This role requires physical stamina and adherence to safety and health guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Vaccinate GP Chickens (50%)
• Move pullets (40%)
• Operate a high pressure and regular water hose
• Maintain foot pans and hand sanitizers
• Clean and disinfect Cobb vehicles
• Maintain a clean and organized work area (6%)
• Move spike males (4%)
• Follow biosecurity and animal welfare guidelines

Requirements

• Must reside in the United States
• Previous agricultural or production experience preferred
• Willingness to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must use safe lifting techniques
• Ability to lift and/or move up to thirty pounds regularly and up to one hundred pounds at times
