About the position

The Engagement Manager position at Cochlear is focused on executing B2C sales strategies for medical devices, specifically cochlear implants. This role involves driving territory strategy to meet sales revenue targets while supporting the Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Las Vegas territories. The Engagement Manager will act as an expert on Cochlear products, nurturing relationships with candidates and professional partners, and implementing marketing strategies to grow the market for cochlear technology.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with candidates and professional partners as the expert on Cochlear products.
  • Implement local consumer marketing and candidate nurture strategies to grow the market for cochlear implants.
  • Plan and execute candidate growth events and develop strategic community relationships.
  • Manage, develop, and inspire mentoring volunteers.
  • Provide candidate communication through various channels including in-person, virtual, email, and phone.
  • Demonstrate sales and business acumen to identify market opportunities and generate sales.
  • Ensure compliance with Cochlear policies, laws, and regulations in all sales activities.
  • Collaborate with B2B teammates to educate on products and develop relationships with schools and audiologists.
  • Execute sales and marketing initiatives to deliver positive customer impact.
  • Coordinate candidate educational events and awareness initiatives related to Cochlear devices.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive information to develop effective customer approaches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Current and valid driver's license.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time with overnight stays and weekends.
