About the position
The Cocktail Server at the Williamsburg Inn is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner. This part-time role emphasizes excellent guest service skills and the ability to handle a high volume of guests while maintaining the Inn's standards of service. The position is integral to providing an exceptional dining experience in a historic and prestigious setting.
Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages to guests courteously and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as required to exceed guests' expectations.
- Learn and execute formal tea service as needed.
- Maintain a positive and enthusiastic outlook while interacting with guests and staff.
- Ensure compliance with appearance and service standards.
Requirements
- Demonstrated excellent guest service skills.
- Ability to learn formal tea service.
- Ability to handle large numbers of guests courteously and efficiently.
- Must be 18 years of age according to A.B.C. § 4.1-307.
- No felony convictions or drug-related offenses within the past five years.
