About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Beverage Server to join our dynamic team at Haleiwa Joe's. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience in a bustling restaurant environment. This part-time position requires multitasking abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

• Experience in the food service industry, preferably in a restaurant or nightclub setting.
• Strong knowledge of culinary principles and food industry practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with sales and upselling techniques to increase revenue.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS and OpenTable systems.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly around the dining area.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring prompt delivery of food and beverages.
• Utilize our Aloha POS system to manage orders, process payments, and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the bar and dining area.
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of our menu, making recommendations to guests as needed.
• Upsell and promote our daily specials and seasonal offerings to increase sales and revenue.
• Manage table settings, including bussing tables and ensuring all guests have what they need.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with our culinary team to ensure that all food and beverages are delivered to the correct guests in a timely manner.
• Utilize OpenTable to manage reservations and ensure that all tables are fully utilized.
• Work effectively in a nightclub environment, handling high-volume orders and maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
