About The Position

We are seeking an individual, who has demonstrated a willing commitment to these values, holding them in high regard, to join our team as a Code Enforcement Officer. The purpose of this position is to maintain City codes by enforcing code violations. This is accomplished by enforcing ordinances and investigating and resolving violations. Other duties may include obtaining and providing information regarding ordinances, resolving violations, maintaining records, assisting the general public, obtaining necessary information from other cities and interfacing with other City employees and citizens. This position does not provide direction to other employees. This position generally works Tuesday-Saturday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and will include some evenings and weekends, as necessary to attend neighborhood meetings and community events.
