Exciting Opportunity to Teach Coding to K-12 Students! As an instructor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping future leaders in technology while enjoying the flexibility of part-time hours. In this role, you will lead engaging and interactive coding classes in-person at local schools, primarily during after-school hours. Classes are located in the Phoenix areas, ensuring easy commutes for instructors. You will utilize our comprehensive curriculum (flexible for customization) to teach a variety of coding languages, with our most popular classes being Scratch, Python, Minecraft Modding, Roblox, Robotics, and Little Coders. Your expertise in coding and professionalism will be valued and compensated at Coding with Kids, with opportunities for bonuses based on student retention, customer feedback, and class completion. Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging and interactive coding classes in-person at local schools during after-school hours.
  • Utilize a comprehensive curriculum to teach a variety of coding languages.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
  • Foster strong relationships with fellow instructors and students.

Requirements

  • Passion for coding and experience working with children or youth.
  • Reliable vehicle to commute to classes.
  • Familiarity with coding languages such as Scratch, Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, SQL, and Robotics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with teaching coding to K-12 students.
  • Knowledge of Minecraft Modding and Roblox development.
  • Experience using Zoom for teaching purposes.
