Outlier is seeking experienced software engineers to serve as Coding Mentors for Complex AI Systems. This freelance role involves providing coding expertise to train generative AI models, particularly in evaluating and ranking code generated by these models. The position is remote with flexible hours, allowing individuals to work at their convenience while contributing to innovative AI projects.

Responsibilities

• Craft and answer questions related to computer science to assist in training AI models.
• Evaluate and rank code generated by AI models.

Requirements

• Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C++.
• Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science from a selective institution.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
