Responsibilities

• Knows and adheres to all safety rules and procedures
• Produces orders to schedule to satisfy customer needs and production requirements
• Performs production execution of product labeling and production entry
• Completes all required quality inspections, testing, and documentation
• Complies with Company standards regarding housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areas
• Performs routine preventative maintenance
• Performs duties of other team members as required during breaks and absences
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years' experience as a machine operator with knowledge of process equipment, tooling and procedures to set up, operate, and maintain equipment work area in a safe, productive manner
• Basic math, reading, computer, and analytical skills
• High awareness towards safety and ability to analyze and solve production facility problems
• Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independently
• Able to work overtime and on weekends if needed
• Operates cranes, forklift, and other related equipment
• Basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma
