About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating an exceptional café experience for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and food items while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in coffee preparation techniques and knowledge of various coffee types is preferred.
• Experience in food preparation and understanding of food safety practices is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
• Basic knowledge of retail math to assist with sales transactions effectively.
• Previous experience in a café or food service environment is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register, including cash handling and balancing the register at the end of shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, food supplies, and other café products.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while maintaining a positive work environment.
