About the position

The Collections Customer Service Specialist at Reiser is responsible for providing comprehensive credit and collections support for the US customer base. This role is integral to the Customer Service department, focusing on not only collecting amounts due but also ensuring excellent service to Reiser customers. The position involves daily tasks such as researching and resolving issues related to billing and customer accounts, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Make regular collection calls.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships.
  • Resolve cash application discrepancies.
  • Research product return problems.
  • Resolve customer issues related to billing.
  • Regularly interact with Regional Manager and sales representatives regarding the status of customers' accounts.
  • Timely identify paid machines and ensure that customer and machine files are properly updated.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in business related field preferred but not necessary.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Prior collections experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Ariba and other similar portals is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Spanish Speaking is a plus.
