About the position

The College Admissions Presenter/High School Recruiter is a full-time role responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with high schools, community colleges, and organizations to generate interest from prospective students. This position plays a crucial role in achieving the College's strategic enrollment goals through presentations, workshops, and one-on-one meetings with students and educators. The role requires excellent communication and public speaking skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, employers, and community organizations.
  • Contact and visit high schools and community colleges to schedule and conduct presentations with students.
  • Meet with school counselors, teachers, and others to expand recruitment opportunities.
  • Research and identify area employers and community-based organizations for partnership agreements.
  • Speak directly with employees seeking higher education opportunities.
  • Represent the College at external functions and events to recruit students and promote brand awareness.
  • Maintain activity itinerary, contact information database, and submit activity reports.
  • Support and participate in admissions events such as open houses and scholarship days.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in consultative sales, recruitment, account management, or higher education.
  • Excellent public speaking, presentation, interviewing, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships with key administrators and staff.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual - English/Spanish is preferred.
