About the position
The College of Westchester is seeking a full-time and part-time College Admissions Recruiter/Advisor to assist prospective students through the admissions process. This role involves conducting interviews, scheduling campus visits, and providing information about programs and services to help students identify suitable educational paths. The recruiter will play a crucial role in achieving the college's enrollment objectives while adhering to ethical standards and compliance regulations.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective students to schedule campus visitation appointments.
- Meet with potential students to explain program offerings and advise on suitable programs.
- Represent the College on and off campus to prospective students, parents, and organizations involved in the college selection process.
- Adhere to a strict code of ethics and comply with all college policies, state and federal laws, and accrediting body regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5 years of successful experience in recruitment, sales, customer service, marketing, public relations, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills, including effective follow-up and follow-through.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
