The College and Career Transition Coach at STAR High School plays a pivotal role in guiding students through the critical transition from high school to post-secondary education or the workforce. Under general supervision, this position is designed to provide personalized support and coaching to empower students in achieving their academic, career, and personal goals beyond graduation. The coach will focus on building meaningful relationships with students, offering both one-on-one and group coaching sessions to help them set clear educational and career objectives. In addition to providing guidance through the college application process, the coach will assist students in researching potential colleges, completing applications, and preparing for admissions interviews. A significant aspect of this role involves helping students understand the financial aid process, identifying scholarship opportunities, and completing necessary paperwork.
