About the position

Plaza College is seeking passionate and knowledgeable Instructors to join our educational team, specifically for teaching college-level courses in Anatomy, Biology, Physiology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Biochemistry. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction, developing course materials, and assessing student performance in a collaborative learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cover key concepts in Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, Cell Biology, and Biostatistics.
• Utilize Learning Technology to enhance the educational experience and facilitate student understanding of complex topics.
• Guide students through laboratory exercises, including dissection techniques and experimental design.
• Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and practical evaluations while providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with faculty members to improve curriculum and instructional methods based on student needs and industry trends.
• Stay current with advancements in relevant fields to ensure course content is up-to-date.

Requirements

• A Master's degree from an accredited program in a relevant field such as Biology, Chemistry, or Computer Science is required; advanced degrees are preferred (Doctorate a plus).
• Minimum of 2 years of previous teaching or instructional experience.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for educational purposes, including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and adapting teaching methods to meet varying learning styles.
