About the position
The College of Southern Nevada is seeking Student Ambassadors for the Recruitment & College Connections department for the Spring 2025 semester. This position is designed for students who have received a Student Employment Award and are interested in enhancing their communication, customer service, and office skills while representing the college at various events. The role involves engaging with prospective students and families, assisting with the enrollment process, and creating social media content.
Responsibilities
- Represent CSN at educational events, college fairs, etc.
- Assist in conducting presentations and participate in various events throughout the greater Las Vegas valley.
- Provide campus tours to prospective students and families.
- Assist prospective and newly admitted students with the enrollment process.
- Greet visitors and answer/return phone calls.
- Create social media content.
- Be willing to work occasional evening and weekend events.
- Assist in completing special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have completed this year's FAFSA and accepted the Student Employment Award in their Financial Aid Package.
- Be friendly, outgoing, and willing to learn.
- Have a good understanding of diverse multicultural environments.
- Be able to follow directions and communicate well.
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
- Be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Working knowledge of social media.
