About the position

The Collision General Manager at Caliber Collision is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the service center, ensuring that vehicle repairs are conducted safely, thoroughly, and profitably. This role includes risk management, teammate development, monitoring financial performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures. The manager will also focus on recruiting and retaining talented teammates while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall operation of the service center.
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
  • Recruit, recognize, and retain talented teammates.
  • Monitor current financial performance metrics and review previous month's metrics to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Ensure that center teammates are repairing vehicles thoroughly and safely according to Caliber's SOP and insurance partners' guidelines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Collision Management Experience
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under the company insurance policy
  • Advanced understanding of Collision Estimatics
  • Prior experience with CCC1
  • Advanced understanding of the repair process and procedures
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills for internal and external customers
  • Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including lifting objects over 50 lbs.
