About the position

The Collision General Manager at Caliber Collision is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the service center, ensuring effective risk management, teammate development, and client satisfaction. This role involves monitoring financial performance, recruiting and retaining talent, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures. The position aims to maintain high-quality vehicle repairs while fostering a positive work environment and promoting career growth among team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operation of the collision center.
• Manage risk and ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
• Recruit, recognize, and retain talented teammates.
• Monitor financial performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure thorough, safe, and profitable vehicle repairs according to Caliber's SOP and insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Collision Management Experience
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for company insurance coverage
• Advanced understanding of Collision Estimatics
• Prior experience with CCC1
• Knowledge of the repair process and procedures
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
• Capability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills for internal and external customers
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting over 50 lbs, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
