About the position

The Collision General Manager at Caliber Collision is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the service center, which includes risk management, teammate development, client metrics, production, and administration. This role involves recruiting, recognizing, and retaining talented teammates, monitoring financial performance metrics, and ensuring that vehicle repairs are conducted thoroughly, safely, and profitably according to industry standards and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operation of the collision center.
• Manage risk and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Recruit, recognize, and retain talented teammates.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics.
• Review previous month's financial metrics to identify opportunities and trends.
• Ensure thorough, safe, and profitable vehicle repairs according to Caliber's SOP and industry guidelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Collision Management Experience
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under company insurance policy
• Advanced understanding of Collision Estimatics
• Prior experience with CCC1
• Advanced understanding of the repair process and procedures
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills for internal and external customers
• Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including lifting objects over 50 lbs.
