About the position

The Collision General Manager at Caliber Collision is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the service center, ensuring effective risk management, teammate development, and client satisfaction. This role involves monitoring financial performance, recruiting and retaining talented staff, and ensuring that vehicle repairs are conducted safely and profitably in accordance with company standards and industry guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall operation of the collision center.
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Recruit, recognize, and retain talented teammates.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics.
  • Review previous month's financial metrics to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Ensure thorough, safe, and profitable vehicle repairs according to Caliber's SOP and industry standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Collision Management Experience
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for company insurance coverage
  • Advanced understanding of Collision Estimatics
  • Prior experience with CCC1
  • Advanced knowledge of the repair process and procedures
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills for internal and external customers
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting over 50 lbs, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
