About the position

The Collision General Manager at Caliber Collision is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the center, including risk management, teammate development, client metrics, production, and administration. This role involves recruiting, recognizing, and retaining talented teammates, monitoring financial performance metrics, and ensuring that vehicle repairs are conducted thoroughly, safely, and profitably according to industry standards and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operation of the collision center.
• Manage risk and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and mentor teammates to enhance their skills and performance.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ensure thorough, safe, and profitable vehicle repairs according to company SOPs and insurance guidelines.
• Recruit, recognize, and retain talented staff members.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Collision Management Experience
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under company insurance policy
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
• Advanced understanding of Collision Estimatics
• Prior experience with CCC1
• Knowledge of the repair process and procedures
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills for internal and external customers
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting over 50 lbs, kneeling, bending, and squatting.
