About the position

As a Combat Medic Specialist in the U.S. Army, you will provide emergency medical care in both combat and humanitarian situations. This role involves serving as a first responder, triaging illnesses and injuries, and training other soldiers in lifesaving techniques. You will also provide medical care on base when not deployed, ensuring the health and safety of your fellow soldiers.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must enlist in the Army or Army Reserves, ages 17-42.

  • Excellent physical fitness and stamina for prolonged physical exertion.
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis for mission planning.
  • Effective communication skills for clear information relay.
  • Ability to work well in high-stress team environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in emergency medical services or paramedic training.
  • Previous military experience or training.
