About The Position

Aerotek is seeking experienced Combo Welders proficient in Flux Core and Pulse welding techniques for a large site in Hollywood, SC. The role involves welding, fitting, and interpreting blueprints, with a focus on maintaining quality and safety standards. The position offers competitive pay based on experience and performance, along with a per diem for travel.

Requirements

• Proficient in Flux core and Pulse Welding
• Must be able to structural fit as well
• Minimum 3-5 years of welding experience using Flux and Pulse welding techniques
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques (Flux, MIG, Pulse)
• Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
• Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness and quality.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
