About the position

The Combustion Technician II position at Cimarron involves providing maintenance and minor repairs on oil and gas production equipment, including electrical troubleshooting and support for team members. Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance including spark plug and oil changes on oil & gas production equipment.
• Conduct minor repairs and electrical troubleshooting as needed.
• Assist team members with repairs, troubleshooting, and startups.
• Maintain a philosophy of zero accidents by following safety procedures.
• Operate and maintain Vapor Recovery Units (VRUs) and Flares on customer sites.
• Complete timecards, field tickets, and material transfers accurately.
• Ensure the company truck is clean and well-maintained.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience with electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Mechanical knowledge and experience with various mechanical equipment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with industrial wiring and motor controls.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and P&ID drawings.
• Experience working with pneumatic valves and electric actuators.
• Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet customer requirements.
