About the position

The position involves selling Comcast's Commercial Internet, Video, and Voice services to mid-size and large businesses. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, including relationship building and delivering presentations to prospective clients. The individual will work as part of a team to achieve sales targets and enhance the Comcast brand in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations demonstrating knowledge of Comcast products and services.
  • Exceed departmental financial and unit targets through effective sales strategies.
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to position Comcast Business Services effectively.
  • Develop sales territory by cultivating local partnerships and organizational affiliations.
  • Generate new leads through various prospecting activities, including cold calling and customer referrals.
  • Promote and position the Comcast brand within the designated territory.
  • Retain customer base by ensuring a superior customer experience and delivering on the Comcast Credo.
  • Maintain and build customer relationships to drive retention and ensure operational efficiencies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales records and activity reports.
  • Attend out-of-office meetings with customers and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in sales or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
  • Knowledge of Network Design, MAN technologies, and Voice Network Technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in political canvassing or similar outreach activities.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and experiences related to sales.
