About the position

The position is responsible for providing strategic account management and financial sales leadership for a portfolio of mid-market customers. The role focuses on developing and managing account strategies, identifying revenue opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting annual revenue and retention objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quota through identification and closing of incremental sales and revenue opportunities.
  • Proactively engage customers to understand their changing business needs and identify upselling/cross selling opportunities.
  • Renew customer contracts to protect and grow existing revenue streams.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of the company's products/services and pricing practices to effectively position them with assigned accounts.
  • Initiate and deliver proposed solutions to meet customer needs related to various Business Class products.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and serve as the primary escalation point for customer issues.
  • Coordinate efforts with internal teams to ensure effective resolution of customer issues.
  • Manage the cultivation, execution, and delivery of sales and services to local and regional accounts.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations leadership to develop account management plans.
  • Position and sell Company Business Class services across multiple organizational levels, including C-level personnel.
  • Manage existing revenue, sales opportunities, quota, funnels, and forecasts consistent with corporate goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and planning, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.

  • Experience in customer experience (CX) management.
  • Proven track record in identifying sales opportunities and direct selling.
