As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Comcast, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the security of our software development processes. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with various teams within Comcast Technology, Product, and Experience to integrate security tools that facilitate secure software development. This position requires you to work closely with development teams to ensure that security is embedded in their pipelines from the very beginning of the software development lifecycle. You will be instrumental in helping developers produce secure software by providing them with the necessary tools and support. In this role, you will lead efforts to measure the security of software produced by development teams as part of their CI/CD pipelines. You will conduct research on commercial products that can effectively assess security and seamlessly integrate into existing workflows. Additionally, you will design and develop custom software solutions that help evaluate the effectiveness of teams in developing secure applications. Your expertise will also extend to providing advanced technical support to teams that require assistance with secure coding practices and tools. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in software development, whether in back-end or front-end technologies. You should be comfortable presenting technical information, both in written and verbal formats, to various stakeholders within the organization.
