About the position

The Comcast Digital Copywriter Intern position offers a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the dynamic environment of a leading media and technology company. This internship is designed to cultivate meaningful relationships, develop strong interpersonal and business skills, and provide exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 40 company. Interns will work closely with Comcast's top innovators, becoming integral members of the team and contributing to creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects across various business units. The Digital Experience Design (DXD) team is at the forefront of technological innovation and creativity at Comcast. This team believes in the powerful combination of art and science to create imaginative ideas, products, and services. Interns will have the chance to craft omnichannel digital services and applications that deliver results for business partners while adhering to UX best practices. The role emphasizes the importance of crafting impactful content that drives business needs while keeping the customer at the center of all messaging. As a Digital Copywriter Intern, you will learn the art and science of creating compelling headlines and digital copy across multiple brand initiatives. You will be challenged to distill complex information into simple, impactful messages that resonate with consumers. This internship is not just about writing; it’s about bringing fresh perspectives to existing challenges and collaborating with the team to develop persuasive messaging strategies that attract and retain Xfinity customers.

Responsibilities

  • Developing web copy that adheres to UX best practices
  • Mastering the brand tone of voice to create compelling headlines and descriptions for products and services
  • Concepting content ideas that build a broader picture of the brand and services
  • Collaborating with internal teams on quick-fire tasks
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university
  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior (graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
  • Returning to degree program for at least a semester after the internship
  • Available to work 40 hours per week during the summer program (June 2 through August 15, 2025)
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
  • Available to report in-person to the work location unless virtual offering

Nice-to-haves

  • Work in progress book of copy and spec work (marketing, UX, TV scripts)
  • Ability to work fast and iterate on copy in a strategic, focused manner
  • Comfort with digital tools and systems
  • Preferred Majors: Advertising, Marketing, English, Journalism
