About the position

The Comcast Technical Project Manager Intern role is designed for students to gain hands-on experience in change management within the CONNECT Core & Edge Network Change Team. Interns will work closely with project managers, engineers, and decision-makers to support the planning and execution of network upgrades, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of Comcast's network infrastructure. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while developing professional skills in a Fortune 30 media and technology company.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in team meetings to distribute work based on continually evolving priorities
  • Support the tracking of decisions and actions during daily DevOps change control meetings
  • Monitor daily change progress, report impacts to team leads, follow up on issues as directed
  • Communicate upcoming changes to stakeholders from various teams around the country
  • Maintain team wiki pages to continually evolve and communicate our change process
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow queries, reports and dashboards to monitor change activity
  • Drive continual improvement by analyzing change related data for reporting to senior leaders
  • Identify new opportunities to communicate change activity; implement suggested solutions
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Complete work accurately and meet all deadlines
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university
  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
