About the position

Hope Veterinary Care is a fully staffed small animal practice located in Hope, RI, seeking to add a third full-time veterinarian to our team. We are dedicated to providing a supportive environment that fosters mentorship and leadership, allowing our veterinarians to grow both personally and professionally. We also have a reliable lab service that provides quick turnaround times for lab results, ensuring that our veterinarians have the information they need to make informed decisions for their patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality veterinary care to small animals.
  • Perform surgical and dental procedures as needed.
  • Mentor and support junior staff and new graduates.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' health and treatment options.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Must be motivated and patient-loving.
  • Possess a positive outlook and enjoy performing surgery.
  • Willingness to be mentored in surgical and dental techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in veterinary medicine and surgery is preferred but not mandatory.
