About the position

The Comfort Sales Specialist role at Emerson Personnel Group involves marketing and selling HVAC and plumbing services to established clients in the South Jersey area. The position focuses on maintaining client relationships, responding to inquiries, and participating in strategic marketing efforts, all while ensuring successful installations and tracking sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with marketing and sells equipment and maintenance to established clients.
  • Maintains relationship with clientele and conducts onsite visits annually to maintain relationship(s).
  • Answers customer inquiries within 24-36 hours of receipt.
  • Assists with strategic planning of marketing targets.
  • Participates with company events and network subscriptions.
  • Sells the company's brand, products or services.
  • Prepares bids, quotes and material list for each project (for sold and pending proposals).
  • Researches new product requests.
  • Negotiates pricing and availability with vendors.
  • Works closely with installation staff and dispatcher to ensure smooth and successful installations.
  • Tracks monthly leads and sales numbers.
  • Pursues and records self-generated efforts in proper database.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • HVAC sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in the Cherry Hill, NJ office when not in customer homes.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends around customer schedules when required.
