• Collaborate with writers and creative directors to visualize scripts and concepts.
• Create character designs, backgrounds, and layouts for comic strips or books.
• Utilize graphic design skills to ensure cohesive and visually appealing layouts.
• Edit and revise illustrations based on feedback while maintaining artistic integrity.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into your work.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a comic artist or illustrator, with a strong portfolio showcasing your illustrative style.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Clip Studio Paint, etc.).
• Strong understanding of layout design, composition, and color theory.
• Ability to create expressive characters and engaging narratives through visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion for storytelling, especially in relation to cats and whimsical themes.
