About the position

ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is seeking a qualified Command & Control (C2) Systems Operations Research Analyst to support our Langley Air Force Base customer. The role involves analyzing the effects of proposed requirements on C2 networks and enhancing the warfighter's ability to employ emerging C2 concepts. The analyst will evaluate technical solutions against various criteria and document their alignment with Joint and Air Force doctrine.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the effects of proposed requirements on Command and Control (C2) networks.
  • Evaluate technical solutions against schedule, cost, need satisfaction, risk, and operational relevance.
  • Analyze C2 requirements and solutions affecting Air Force, Joint, and Coalition missions.
  • Document alignment to Joint and AF doctrine or recommend changes based on increased capabilities.
  • Assist platform programs in defining TDL requirements and planning.
  • Provide expertise for integrating new capabilities onto AF platforms.
  • Support documentation, briefings, and justification for Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions.
  • Participate in technical and operational discussions regarding TDL needs and emerging concepts.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years' operations experience working Airborne or Ground Theater Air Control System.
  • Five (2) years' operational experience in AOC, ASOC, MOC (air ops), TACC, N-TACC, TAOC, or DASC.
  • Five (5) years' specialized experience with TDL systems, gateways, and networks.
  • Five (5) years' experience analyzing and evaluating operational capabilities and limitations of technical solutions for TDL systems.
  • Three (3) years' experience in a HHQ staff officer or equivalent position.
