About the position

As a Commercial Account Executive at Datadog, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers through outbound strategies and managing the full sales cycle. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to meet clients' technical needs and participating in professional development and sales training to enhance your skills. You will play a crucial role in Datadog's business growth by engaging and closing net-new customers across small to midsize markets.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on net-new logo acquisition via outbound activity
  • Become a Datadog expert through continued product and sales trainings
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including technical demonstrations and negotiation
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to drive top of funnel activity
  • Strategically prospect into Chief Technology Officers, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end-users

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales
  • Proven track record of success in carrying quota
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Ability to learn from feedback and champion a growth mindset
  • Comfortable operating in a highly technical, fast-paced environment
