About the position

The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for managing complex client insurance programs, ensuring superior service delivery, and maintaining positive client relationships. This role involves documentation, teamwork, and technical expertise to analyze insurance quotes, manage accounts receivables, and support the training and growth of Account Managers. The position requires proactive engagement with clients and vendors to ensure effective processing of requests and adherence to deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Client Insurance Program using the agency management system.
  • Serve as a point of contact with the Producer and vendors.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and analyze situations for decision-making.
  • Demonstrate consultative abilities to guide clients effectively.
  • Manage deadlines and events, updating the Producer as needed.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivables and Direct Billing processes.
  • Create Acord applications and COPE spreadsheets for submissions.
  • Prepare Loss Summaries and proposals for renewal terms.
  • Issue Acord Insurance Binders and initiate Premium Finance Requests.
  • Prepare Schedules of Insurance and policies for client delivery.
  • Process Policy Audits and Monthly Reports, resolving accounting discrepancies.
  • Prepare documents for renewal terms, including Insurance Proposals and Certificates of Insurance.
  • Perform quality checks on insurance policies and provide guidance to team members when necessary.
  • Delegate tasks to Account Managers and outsourcing teams to ensure service excellence.
  • Support the training and growth of Account Managers.

Requirements

  • Licensed: Louisiana P&C Agent preferred
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of midmarket Commercial Account Manager experience preferred
  • Completion of CIC and CRM preferred
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Willingness to work beyond scheduled hours to meet client needs
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and current internet technologies
  • Demonstrate proactive work style
  • Ability to learn, analyze, and comprehend commercial lines of insurance
  • Demonstrate effective client service through problem-solving and tactfulness
  • Track record of interacting and partnering with clients for desired outcomes.
