About The Position

Seismic is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join a fast-paced, high-volume sales team. This role is crucial for accelerating growth by acquiring new customers and expanding relationships within the existing customer base. This is an individual contributor role, with a preferred location in Boston, requiring 2-3 days a week in the office.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4-years closing experience in a SaaS sales role with a history of consistent quota achievement.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills.
  • Confident managing complex deals with long sales cycles.
  • Naturally curious and patiently persistent.
  • Competitive and helpful; driven by winning and supporting teammates.
  • Builds trust and strives to create consultative relationships with prospects.
  • Able to articulate value through effective presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with Salesforce CRM.
  • Prior experience with Sales Enablement or Content Management Systems.
  • Prior experience with Sales Engagement Tools.
  • Familiarity with Marketing/Sales tech.

Responsibilities

  • Hunting – outreach to a target account list of companies under 2000 employees to uncover and qualify opportunities.
  • Farming – expand accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, building executive relationships, and increasing product adoption across business units.
  • Admin – Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene, providing regular updates on territory performance and growth opportunities.
