About the position

The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for managing complex client insurance programs, ensuring superior service delivery, and maintaining positive client relationships. This role involves documentation, client communication, and collaboration with team members to meet client needs effectively. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to analyze insurance quotes and contracts while providing guidance to clients and Account Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Client Insurance Program using the agency management system.
  • Serve as a point of contact with the Producer and vendors to ensure proper processing of requests.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and analyze situations to make reasonable decisions.
  • Manage upcoming deadlines and events, informing the Producer as needed.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivables and Direct Billing related to cancellations.
  • Create Acord applications and COPE spreadsheets for submissions to the Marketing Department or carriers.
  • Prepare Loss Summaries and proposals for renewal terms.
  • Issue Acord Insurance Binders and initiate Premium Finance Requests.
  • Prepare Schedules of Insurance and policies for delivery to clients.
  • Process Policy Audits and Monthly Reports, identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies.
  • Delegate tasks to Account Managers and ensure completion of tasks from outsourcing teams.
  • Support the training and growth of Account Managers.
  • Analyze insurance quotes and make recommendations based on client needs.
  • Communicate with insurance carriers and clients as necessary.

Requirements

  • Licensed Louisiana P&C Agent preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of midmarket Commercial Account Manager experience preferred.
  • Completion of CIC and CRM preferred.
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Willingness to work beyond scheduled hours to meet client needs.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and current internet technologies.
  • Demonstrate proactive work style and ability to learn and analyze commercial lines of insurance.
  • Ability to service clients effectively with confidentiality, diplomacy, and tact.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in training and development.
  • Knowledge of premium analysis software.
  • Familiarity with carrier online rating programs.
