About the position

The Commercial Account Executive at Marsh McLennan Agency is responsible for managing client insurance programs, particularly for larger and more complex accounts. This role involves direct interaction with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure effective service delivery and client satisfaction. The position requires a consultative approach to guide clients, manage documentation, and oversee account management tasks, while also contributing to team efforts to provide superior service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Client Insurance Program using the agency management system.
  • Act as a point of contact with the Producer and initiate correspondence with the marketplace.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and analyze situations to make informed decisions.
  • Manage Accounts Receivables and Direct Billing with respect to cancellations.
  • Create Acord applications and complete COPE spreadsheets for submissions.
  • Prepare Loss Summaries and proposals for renewal terms.
  • Issue Acord Insurance Binders and initiate Premium Finance Requests.
  • Prepare Schedules of Insurance and policies for delivery to clients.
  • Process Policy Audits and Monthly Reports, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Delegate tasks to Account Managers and ensure completion of tasks from outsourcing teams.
  • Analyze insurance quotes and make recommendations based on client needs.
  • Communicate with insurance carriers and clients as needed.

Requirements

  • Licensed Louisiana P&C Agent preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of midmarket Commercial Account Manager experience preferred.
  • Completion of CIC and CRM preferred.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and current internet technologies.
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
  • Ability to learn, analyze, and comprehend commercial lines of insurance.
