As a Commercial Account Manager at Orkin, you will be an integral part of our Commercial sales team, leveraging your competitive drive and sales skills to maximize your financial potential. Your role will involve making strategic recommendations to both new and existing businesses, helping them prevent pest issues while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. In this position, you will serve as a problem solver for commercial clients, utilizing the comprehensive training provided to determine the best pest solutions tailored to each customer's needs. Achieving sales goals will be a key focus, which will involve prospecting new business opportunities and following up on assigned leads. You will also conduct thorough inspections of clients' commercial properties, making informed recommendations based on your findings. The use of technology will be essential, as you will be provided with an iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized throughout your sales process. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a problem solver for commercial clients by utilizing the in-depth training provided to decide on the best overall pest solution for each customer's needs.
  • Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
  • Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
  • Conduct an inspection of the interior and exterior of the client's commercial property.
  • Make recommendations to clients based on your inspection and issues identified by addressing any questions, explaining the process and setting expectations.
  • Use the iPad provided to prepare sales agreements and help stay organized.

Requirements

  • Sales experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required with a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
  • Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients.
