About the position

The Commercial Associate Account Executive at Marsh McLennan Agency is responsible for managing client insurance programs, primarily focusing on small and less complex accounts. This role involves direct interaction with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure effective service delivery and client satisfaction. The position requires a proactive approach to managing documentation, client relationships, and technical expertise in insurance products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Client Insurance Program using the agency management system.
  • Act as a point of contact with the Producer and vendors to ensure proper processing of requests.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and analyze situations to make reasonable decisions.
  • Manage upcoming deadlines and events, updating the Producer as needed.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivables and Direct Billing related to cancellations.
  • Create Acord applications and COPE spreadsheets for submissions to the Marketing Department and carriers.
  • Prepare Loss Summaries and proposals for renewal terms.
  • Issue Acord Insurance Binders and initiate Premium Finance Requests.
  • Prepare Schedules of Insurance and policies for delivery to clients.
  • Process Policy Audits and Monthly Reports, resolving accounting discrepancies as needed.
  • Perform quality checks on insurance policies and provide guidance to junior team members when necessary.
  • Function as a team member of the Client Services team to ensure superior service to all clients.

Requirements

  • Licensed Texas P&C Agent.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of Commercial Account Manager experience or equivalent.
  • Completion of CIC required or 5-7 years of experience as an Account Manager if no designation.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
  • Willingness to work beyond scheduled hours to meet client needs.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and current internet technologies.
  • Demonstrated proactive work style and ability to learn and analyze commercial lines of insurance.
  • Strong client interaction skills with a track record of achieving mutually desired outcomes.
