The position assumes responsibility for complex activities in commercial banking and has direct responsibility for banking relationships with assigned customers and prospective commercial customers. The role involves interviewing customers, preparing documentation for commercial loans, and collecting and analyzing financial data for proper loan structuring. The individual will maintain an aggressive commercial calling program for new and existing customers, assist other lenders in governmental lending programs, and participate in community affairs to promote the bank's image. Additionally, the position requires reviewing final loan documentation, providing training to less experienced commercial bankers, and carrying out business development activities to identify bank prospects. Compliance with existing loan policies and procedures is essential, as well as establishing accounts for commercial customers and responding to customer inquiries.
