As a Commercial Banker specializing in Innovation Economy and Startup Banking at J.P. Morgan, you will focus on acquiring and maintaining profitable relationships with innovative companies. This role emphasizes client acquisition, relationship management, and delivering comprehensive banking solutions tailored to the needs of the startup ecosystem. You will work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team to represent Startup Banking as a leader in the market.

Responsibilities

• Build a brand within the market representing Startup Banking as the leading Innovation Economy bank.
• Develop new business by acquiring new relationships and deepening existing ones.
• Lead internal strategic discussions across all solutions including credit and payments.
• Seek out diverse founders powering innovation through a referral network.
• Champion a culture of innovation and customer-centric mindset while managing risks appropriately.
• Stay updated with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in Commercial Banking.
• Strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services.
• Excellent sales management and business development skills.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to establish credibility with senior partners.
• Self-directed, proactive, and creative with sound judgment.
