About the position

As a Commercial Banker at First Citizens Bank, you will play a crucial role in fostering relationships with business owners in your community, helping them achieve their financial objectives. This position involves developing and maintaining a robust prospect list, engaging in customer outreach, and serving as the primary contact for borrowing needs, typically over $2 million. You will collaborate with bank partners to offer a comprehensive range of deposit and related business services, contributing to the bank's growth through commercial loans, deposits, and fee income.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the growth of the bank through commercial loans, deposits, and fee income.
• Leverage your network to engage with local business owners and develop business lending opportunities.
• Represent the bank in the community by attending civic, community, and networking events.
• Engage in an efficient loan approval process with open communication and exposure to local credit partners.
• Collaborate with various bank partners to support and deepen the full client relationship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years experience in business or commercial lending, credit or business development.
• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years experience in business or commercial lending, credit or business development.
• Business development experience.
• Financial analysis and credit underwriting skills.
• Knowledge of commercial lending, deposit and cash management solutions.
• Ability to provide financial guidance and expertise.
• Sales planning and forecasting experience.
