Northwest Bank is seeking an experienced Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) to join our team in Seattle, Washington. The ARM plays a crucial role in supporting Relationship Managers (RMs) as part of the client-facing production team. This position involves conducting comprehensive credit analysis, which includes gathering, analyzing, and interpreting various types of credit information on both existing and prospective customers. The ARM is pivotal in servicing current clients and driving business development for new clients, ensuring that we deliver exceptional financial solutions that align with our mission and values. In this role, the ARM will perform a variety of essential duties and responsibilities. These include investigating and interpreting credit reports, developing key discussion points to assist in analyzing loan opportunities, and supporting RMs and Loan Administrators in closing loans. The ARM will also be responsible for spreading and analyzing financial statements to evaluate existing and projected company cash flow, working closely with Loan Administration to determine necessary reports, and reviewing independent appraisal and collateral exam reports. The ARM will prepare detailed Credit Memorandums that adhere to defined Credit Quality Expectations and the Bank's policies and procedures. They will make underwriting recommendations to the Relationship Manager, Market President, and Credit Administration as appropriate. Additionally, the ARM will assist in monitoring loans through timely collection of financial information, manage customer files, and participate in customer meetings, providing written summaries for underwriting and risk evaluation. The role also includes supporting the collection of past due accounts and assisting with Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence for new clients. To succeed in this position, the ARM must maintain knowledge of and compliance with banking regulations while effectively managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
