About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Leader to oversee the Emerging Middle Market growth initiative in New England. This role involves managing a team of relationship managers, developing client relationships, and driving business objectives through strategic leadership and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an advisor to guide and influence team strategy for client relationship management.
  • Manage and develop a team of relationship managers in Commercial Banking.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and clients to resolve issues and achieve business objectives.
  • Manage allocation of resources to meet commitments and align with strategic objectives.
  • Lead relationship planning activities and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines.
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to influence business strategies.
  • Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience.
  • 3+ years of management or comparable leadership experience.

  • Passion and demonstrated success for business development.
  • Sales leadership experience.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a team.
  • Relevant experience in Emerging Middle Market space.
