About the position

The Commercial Business Developer role is a full-time position focused on building relationships within the disaster restoration industry in New York City. The successful candidate will take over an established book of business and work closely with a seasoned mentor to promote disaster restoration services to facility and property managers across Manhattan and the five boroughs. This position offers a competitive salary, commission opportunities, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and conduct exploration and drop-in meetings.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and report on engagement and progress.
  • Represent the company at evening events and industry associations, such as BOMA, NY apartment associations, and environmental service associations.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in disaster restoration (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of meeting metrics and daily/weekly outreach goals.
  • Proficient in CRM software, specifically LUXOR for tracking meetings and activities.
  • Driver's License (preferred)
  • Experience in technical sales and facilities management.
