About the position

The Commercial Business Process Analyst Senior Principal at SAIC will play a crucial role in enhancing the operational effectiveness of the Commercial practice within the organization. This position involves developing and executing commercial strategies, managing pricing models, and supporting revenue growth initiatives. The analyst will collaborate with various teams to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with federal regulations, ultimately enabling strategic decision-making for SAIC's executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business models and optimize prices of packaged offerings.
• Provide deal-level guidance to sales and customer success teams.
• Collaborate with Solution Practice teams to evaluate optimal pricing and margins.
• Develop financial business case evaluations to influence executive leadership decisions.
• Perform financial analysis to support ongoing product management efforts.
• Drive pricing strategy alignment across product management, marketing, finance, and sales.
• Support the company's response to Market Research and shape RFPs for commercial-type acquisitions.
• Provide expert support on pricing matters under FAR regulations.
• Lead vendor and pricing discussions related to product development and delivery.
• Design pricing strategies that optimize profitability while remaining competitive.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of related experience; Master's with 13+ years; PhD or JD with 10+ years.
• US Citizenship required.
• Strategic mindset focused on innovation and adapting to business landscapes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of the government acquisition process and FAR regulations.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for detailed proposal reviews and pricing analysis.
