About the position

The Commercial Card Account Manager at First Hawaiian Bank is responsible for managing all activities related to collection and loss mitigation processes within the Consumer Products Division. This role involves planning, hiring, training, and providing direction to the collection and loss mitigation staff to ensure they meet their goals. Responsibilities

  • Manage all activities associated with collection and loss mitigation processes.
  • Plan, hire, and train collection and loss mitigation staff.
  • Provide direction and motivation to staff to meet performance goals.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics related to collections and loss mitigation.
  • Engage positively with colleagues and clients to foster strong relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of banking or financial services experience.
  • 5 years of experience in outside business-to-business sales or customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Business or professional certification in commercial payments preferred.
  • Knowledge in Accounting, Finance, or Procurement.
  • Demonstrated performance in meeting and/or exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience in account payables solutions.
